1. Will the results of a DNA paternity, maternity or kinship test be accepted by a tribe?
Yes, if a tribe’s enrollment ordinance allows for the acceptance of a DNA parentage or kinship result as proof of a biological relationship.
2. Can you calculate my Blood Quantum?
Orchid Cellmark can provide a DNA parentage of relationship result which will provide information on your relationship to a specific member of a tribe. The tribe will then calculate your blood quantum using that information plus other information you provide on your genetic background
