1. What does your fee include?
Orchid Cellmark's fee includes specimen collection, shipment of the samples to our DNA laboratory, DNA analysis, the generation of written reports and the shipment of those reports to the tested parties by mail and to their attorneys, if applicable, by courier.
2. Do I have to pay an extra fee for specimen collection?
Orchid Cellmark fees include the specimen collection(s) within the U.S. You do not have to pay anything extra for specimen collection unless your appointment is outside North America.
3. Do you Offer Payment plans?
Orchid Cellmark recognizes that it may be difficult for some clients to come up with the full payment up front. Therefore we offer you the option to pay an initial deposit of $100 in routine Court Ready paternity cases. We will set up your specimen collection appointments and then hold your samples until we receive the final payment. At that time, we will complete the DNA analysis.
4. Is DNA paternity testing covered by Health Insurance?
DNA paternity testing is considered a non-medical test and is not covered by health insurance plans.
