1. How Can Orchid Cellmark Help In A Case of Suspected Infidelity?
Orchid Cellmark can test for the presence of semen on personal items in the case of suspected infidelity.
2. What Other Services Can Orchid Cellmark Provide?
Orchid Cellmark can screen for the presence of blood, determine if DNA is present in a sample, generate a DNA profile and compare it to another known or unknown DNA profile.
3. How Is My Personal Information Protected?
Your privacy and security are important to us. Entry into our DNA testing facility is by restricted access only. All samples are bar-coded and all computer systems are secured. Results are sent to authorized individuals only and cases are only discussed with those who are authorized to do so. For the protection of the tested parties, results are not usually released over the phone except in unusual circumstances. All samples and DNA profiles are retained for a period of time, as required by accreditation guidelines but are destroyed after the requisite storage periods.
4. Can the test be anonymous?
All infidelity and forensic testing can be conducted anonymously. We will need to know the name of the person booking the case but the results can be issued with the samples designated however you wish (i.e. item “A", item “B", etc).
