Give us a Call1-800-DNA-TEST
DNA Adoption testing is required by the Department of State in Guatemala and Vietnam adoption cases to provide proof of the biological relationship between an alleged mother and child. It is also useful in relinquishment and reunion cases.
WITH OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES
A DNA adoption test is a scientific determination of whether a tested individual is or is not the biological father or mother of a child. DNA testing can be performed prior to the adoption in relinquishment and surrogacy cases, to verify the identity of the biological father and mother. DNA testing can also be performed in adoption cases to help re-unite adoptive children with each other or with their biological parents.
Orchid Cellmark recognizes that the adoption of a child is one of the single most important events in the lives of the parents and the child and understands the importance of an accurate, confidential and timely service.
No matter where the parties reside, whether in the US or in another country such as Guatemala, Orchid Cellmark facilitates the collection of painless, non-invasive cheek swabs, and the shipment of those samples to our testing laboratory.
With a routine turnaround time of 3 days from the date of receipt of the last sample, you will not have to wait a long time to get an answer.
We routinely report testing results with a probability of paternity of 99.99% or higher on inclusions and 0.00% on exclusions.
We are ready to help when you are ready to proceed.
Guatemala Maternity
In order to protect the rights of Guatemalan children, the Guatemalan and US governments have instituted a system to confirm the biological relationship of an adoptive child with his/her biological mother in all adoptions of Guatemalan children to US parents.
Vietnam Parentage Testing
As of April 1, 2008, the USCIS requires DNA to establish the relationship between the biological parent and prospective adoptive child.
Domestic Paternity
A DNA paternity test in domestic adoption cases may be required in cases where the alleged father contests the adoption process or in a surrogacy case, when the surrogate mother is married.
Domestic Maternity
A DNA maternity test in domestic adoption cases may be required in cases of gestational surrogacy to confirm the biological mother of the child.
