Job Title: Bi-lingual Sales Representative and Customer Service Associate, Private Paternity Call Center
Department: Private Paternity Customer Service
Summary of Job:

Responsible for the generation of telephone sales from Spanish clients, brokers and representatives seeking private testing and to research new areas for private Spanish sales, mail and telephone marketing.   Provide all aspects of customer service on a daily basis for private Spanish clients.  Tasks are performed in according to specific site Standard Operating Procedures.

 

Reporting Relationship:

May report to Manager , Private Paternity Sales & Service;  Manager, Call Center; Manager, Paternity Customer Service; or Director, North America Customer Service. 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Communicate with Spanish speaking clients, agencies and brokers.
  • Coordinates resources necessary to ensure a positive sales outcome, including interacting with accessioning, reporting, and laboratory staff.
  • Achieves annual sales and pricing goals
  • Develops sales.
  • Reviews database of potential and established accounts.
  • Prepares, organizes and provides support documentation for private sales
  • Maintains prospect list
  • Researches and initiates telephone inquiries related to private sales.
  • Locates and determines potential private Spanish broker accounts nationally and internationally.
  • Obtains and coordinates direct mail marketing material and correspondence to potential Spanish clients (i.e. Adoption Agencies and Spanish Communities)
  • Receives and documents appointment information from Appointment Scheduler(s)
  • Perform daily customer service activities to include: responding to account inquiries, explaining information regarding test options and results, providing specimen collection information.
  • Resolve customer concerns utilizing in-house resources and provide relevant information as needed.
  • Interacts with rest of marketing and sales team on a regular basis in a positive and professional manner.
  • Contributes to and participates in the implementation and continuous improvement process of the Quality Program as it relates to the department.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Science background helpful.

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Must have demonstrated ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
  • Strong computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with all basic office equipment – i.e. copier, faxes.

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Must have demonstrated ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and be able to communicate both orally and in writing with Spanish speakers.
  • Telephone skills
  • Attention to detail and concern for impact is essential.
