Bi-lingual Customer Service & Sales Account Coordinator


Job Title: Bi-lingual Customer Service & Sales Account Coordinator
Department: Private Paternity Call Center
Summary of Job:

Act as the main contact for Spanish sales and customer service calls.  Coordinate all aspects of customer service/assist with telephone sales on a daily basis for paternity accounts according to specific site Standard Operating Procedures.   

Reporting Relationship:

Will report to Manager, Private Paternity Sales & Service 

Essential Functions:
  • Communicate with Spanish speaking clients, agencies and brokers.
  • Perform daily customer service activities to include: responding to account inquiries, explaining information regarding test options and results according to contract requirements. 
  • Act as the main contact for Spanish sales and customer service calls. Assist with overflow of sales calls and coordinates necessary resources to ensure a positive sales outcome.
  • Assist with direct mail marketing campaigns and any other special projects as requested by management.
  • Resolve customer concerns utilizing in-house resources.
  • Provide the customer with written information as needed.
  • Refer technical inquiries to appropriate staff and ensure that proper follow up occurs.
  • Interact with Accessioning, Reporting and Laboratory staffs.
  • Use telephone, computer and fax machine to correspond with customers regarding cases.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Contributes to and participates in the implementation and continuous improvement process of the Quality Program as it relates to the department.
  • May assist with Spanish scheduling request as instructed by the scheduling department.
  • May print/fax/mail scheduled appointment information and reports.
  • May enter new/changed collection site information into database.

Job Requirements:

Education:         

  • Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.

Summary of Job:

Responsible for providing consistent, high quality support for the general function of the operations laboratory by processing samples for forensic high-throughput contracts according to site specific standard operating procedures. 

 

Reporting Relationship:

May report to: Associate Laboratory Director, Production Manager and Technical Leader or other designee.

 

Essential Functions:
  • Receive and accession samples; return samples at end of testing.
  • Performs and follows established procedures as set by quality assurance and safety guidelines.  Performs quality control duties as assigned including participating in proficiency testing.
  • Conducts a wide variety of additional procedures as needed in the areas of DNA identification testing based on training received and completed(e.g., punching or cutting samples, extraction, amplification, loading samples, quantitations, and operation of automated equipment).
  • Assists in the management of records.
  • Makes solutions and reagents.
  • Cleans laboratory instruments, refrigerators and freezers.
  • Records all observations completely and correctly.
  • Operates computers and laboratory equipment used in the laboratory correctly and safely.

Summary of Job:

Responsible for providing customers with information regarding forensic testing, case submission, presumptive and consultation services, as well as existing case information.

Reporting Relationship:

Reports to the Associate Laboratory Director, Operations Director, or other designee

Essential Functions:
  • Performs daily customer service activities to include customer inquiries and requests for forensic testing and consultation services.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Sales/Marketing Team, Client and the Forensic Analysts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assists with expert testimony scheduling.
  • Distributes sales literature to prospective clients.
  • Processes customer orders (case submissions) for case reviews.
  • Provides assistance to the evidence technician and receptionist.
  • Maintains customer inquiry database.
  • Understands Evidence Handling SOP and proper evidence seal. 
  • Resolves customer concerns utilizing in-house resources and sales team.
  • Provides customer with written documentation as needed.
  • Provides fundamental technical support to customers regarding case submissions. 
  • Responds to discovery requests by compiling required information, preparing cover letters describing information that is or can be provided, and ensuring that discovery packets are transmitted in a timely manner.
  • Arranges third party known sample collections for attorneys and their clients.
  • Interacts with all Orchid Cellmark Inc. team members to enhance customer satisfaction and process efficacy.
