Dayton, OH
Known as the Birthplace of Aviation, Dayton was once home to powered flight inventors Wilbur and Orville Wright. Today the city offers great attractions and historical sites, and fantastic arts venues including The Schuster Performing Arts Center, located downtown. Nashville, TN
Orchid Cellmark's facility in Nashville is located on the eastern edge of Nashville, just south of Nashville International Airport. Nashville, also known as Music City USA, is world renowned for country music, but that's just one facet of this cosmopolitan mid-Southern city. The Nashville Symphony, opera, ballet, repertory theatre and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center exist in harmony alongside the Grand Ole Opry and the lively downtown live music scene. From the Frist Center for the Visual Arts to Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, downtown Nashville caters to a variety of cultural tastes. East Lansing, MI
Orchid Cellmark's facility in East Lansing is located just east of Michigan's Capital City. With a diverse economy and a small-town atmosphere, the Lansing area is one of the nation's best places to live and work. State government, education and manufacturing are the three major industries of Lansing. The region boasts some of the state's best schools. The DeWitt, East Lansing, Grand Ledge and Haslett districts historically perform well on the MEAP exam. The Mid-Michigan area is also packed with opportunities for higher learning with two Big Ten universities nearby, Michigan State University and the University of Michigan. Today there are over 450,000 people currently living within the metro Lansing area.
